Akhil Manro

Akhil Manro has a passion for helping his clients achieve a better financial future. At Dominion Lending Centres Westcor, he specializes in residential and commercial/business financing.

 Akhil has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Calgary and a Master’s in Business Administration from Nova  Southeastern University. After graduating, he worked for over eight years in small business/corporate banking at both Alberta Treasury Branches and CIBC. He also gained valuable venture capital experience working for a local  firm, prior to joining us at Dominion Lending Centres Westcor in 2002. Akhil’s vast experience in business and finance, along with his diverse educational background, allows him to embrace all aspects of the brokering process, including: first mortgages on new and existing homes, refinancing, equity loans, and debt consolidation.

From the preparation of the loan package and presentation material, to the negotiation of financing through a large network of lenders (e.g., banks, pension funds, leasing companies, credit unions, trust companies, insurance companies, government agencies, crown corporations, and private lenders), Akhil excels at finding the best financial options for his clients - getting them approved as quickly as possible.
